Keep in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, transfer the fish to a non metallic container, covering it in olive oil, and consume within 3 days.

Bake sardines spread with a little mustard in puff pastry for Sardine \Sausage Rolls\.
Use with waxy potatoes for a main course salad.
