Discover the new Baron De Guers Rosé, a vibrant blend of Piquepoul and Grenache grapes from the sun-drenched vineyards of the South of France. This unique rosé combines bright citrus notes with soft red fruit and a smooth, refreshing finish, perfect for summer sipping. The grapes are grown on sun-soaked coastal vineyards near the Mediterranean coast in the South of France. That coastal influence gives the rosé its fresh, vibrant character, whilst gentle pressing and cool fermentation preserve its delicate flavours, making it ideal for pairing with grilled seafood, salads, or simply enjoying on a sunny afternoon.

Made by Cave de Pomérols, a member-owned, democratically run co-operative rooted in the Languedoc region, this wine is a testament to sustainable farming and community values. Since 1932, the co-operative has grown into a modern, quality-driven producer with a deep connection to the land and the people who farm it.

History

• Settled in 1932, the Cooperative Winery today represents the production of around 2,250 hectares of vines, mainly in AOP Picpoul de Pinet and IGP Côtes de Thau, from almost 300 families of winegrowers-cooperatives.

Regional information

• In the South of France, the vines are based on ancient terraces called Costières made of sand, gravel, and clay-limestone soil exposed facing the Thau lagoon and the Mediterranean Sea.

Vinification

• Harvested by machine, direct press, settled for 48 hours at 5-8°C, fermentation take place in concrete or stainless tanks with controlled temperature (15-18°C) then racked and stabilised
