Enjoy a refreshing semi-sweet white wine with Baron De Ley Semidulce. This Spanish wine from Rioja is made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown at high altitude, offering fresh aromas of passion fruit and honey. Perfect for pairing with cured cheeses or lemon-flavoured dishes.
Barón de Ley Blanco Semidulce is a semi sweet white wine made from Sauvignon Blanc grapes. The grapes are grown in Finca Carbonera, one of Barón de Ley's estates and the highest altitude vineyard in Rioja at 700-1000m above sea level. The farming conditions at this altitude provide the optimal conditions for aromatic and fresh white wines.
Tasting Notes
A clean, bright and transparent wine of straw yellow colour with golden edges. Clean and complex aromas of passion fruit, mint and hints of honey. An excellent balance between acidity, alcohol and sugar, the palate is fresh with a slight plummy feel.
Pairing Notes
Pairs well with cured cheeses and foie, and lemon-flavoured fish and chicken.
