As we age, our bones, joints and the cartilage that holds them together can incur wear and tear which may lead to pain and stiffness, especially in the morning or after activity. Boots Pharmaceuticals Everyday Ankle Support provides compression to the joint which can help relieve aches, pains and stiffness. The support is made from lightweight and breathable materials, ensuring it can be worn comfortably throughout the day.

How to use

Always read the product information before use.

Choosing the correct size:

• Medium - 22 - 25 cm / 8 ½ - 9 3/4 inches ankle dimension.
• Large - 25 - 28 cm / 9 ¾ - 11 inches ankle dimension.

For size, measure all around the ankle. Position the support over the ankle as indicated on pack. Correct size of support will maximise benefit. Folding may cause excessive compression. Discontinue use if performance deteriorates.

For self treatment the UK National Health Service suggests using PRICE therapy for minor injuries, such as mild sprains and strains for the first 72 hours.

• P. Protection: Protect the injury from further damage by wearing the support.
• R. Rest: Avoid activity that causes pain in the first 48-72 hours after the injury.
• I. Ice: Cool the injured area as soon as possible for 15-20 minutes every 2-3 hours to limit pain and inflammation.
• C. Compression: Use supports or bandages to compress the affected area and reduce swelling.
• E. Elevation: Keep the injured area raised and supported to help reduce the swelling.

How to care for the product:

• Do not dry clean

Hazards and Cautions

• Keep out of reach of children.
• Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
• Remove immediately if product is uncomfortable or too tight.
• Not for use against broken skin.
• Not to be used with hot or cold compresses.
• Not for use with topical creams.
• Do not wear overnight whilst sleeping.
• Keep away from naked flame.
• Seek medical advice if pain is severe, joint movement is restricted or no improvement is seen within 72 hours.
• Not for long term use.
