CALPOL® Sugar Free Infant Suspension Sachets 12s provide soothing relief from fever (raised temperature), post-immunisation fever, cold and flu symptoms, teething, headache, sore throat, earache, and other aches and pains.

Ingredients

• Active Ingredients: Paracetamol 120mg in each 5ml
• Other Ingredients: Contains Maltitol liquid, Sorbitol liquid (non crystallising) (E420), Glycerol, Microcrystalline cellulose and carmellose sodium, Xanthan gum, Ethyl parahydroxybenzoate (E214), Methyl parahydroxybenzoate (E218), Propyl parahydroxybenzoate (E216), Polysorbate 80, Strawberry flavour (containing propylene glycol (E1520) and benzyl alcohol), Carmoisine (E122), Purified water

Preparation and usage
For oral use only. It is important to massage the sachet before use. Do not give more medicine than the label tells you to. Do not overfill the spoon. If your child does not get better, talk to your doctor.

• Children aged 2-3 months: Give 2.5 ml. If necessary, after 4-6 hours, give a second 2.5 ml dose. Do not give to babies less than 2 months old. Only give if your baby weighs over 4 kg and was born after 37 weeks. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not give more than 2 doses. If your child is still feverish after two doses, talk to your doctor or pharmacist.
• Children aged 3-6 months old: Give 2.5 ml up to 4 times
• 6-24 months old: Give 5ml up to 4 times
• 2-4 years old: Give 7.5 ml (5 ml + 2.5 ml) up to 4 times
• 4-6 years old: Give 10 ml (5 ml + 5 ml) up to 4 times

Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24 hour period. Leave at least 4 hours between doses. Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist. CALPOL® Sugar Free Infant Suspension Sachets is a strawberry flavoured oral suspension and is used for the relief of: Fever (raised temperature), post-immunisation fever, cold & flu symptoms, toothache, headache, sore throat, earache, other aches & pains.

Safety information
Please read the product leaflet carefully. Do not give more medicine than the label tells you to. Do not give more than 4 doses in any 24-hour period, and leave at least 4 hours between doses. Talk to a doctor at once if your child takes too much of this medicine, even if they seem well. Do not give this medicine to your child for more than 3 days without speaking to your doctor or pharmacist. As with all medicines, if your child is currently taking any other medicine consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this product. This product contains paracetamol. Do not give other paracetamol-containing products while giving this medicine. Cases of high anion gap metabolic acidosis (HAGMA) due to pyroglutamic acidosis have been observed in patients with risk factors using paracetamol. If HAGMA due to pyroglutamic acidosis is suspected, prompt discontinuation of paracetamol and close monitoring is recommended. Do not store above 25C. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
