



The Grand Vin de Château de Pommard is a fine French Burgundy red wine made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes. Aged for 22 months in French oak barrels, it offers deep ruby colour and velvety tannins. Serve at 16°C with mature cheeses or game dishes.
Harvested from Clos Marey-Monge, in Pommard, France, this Burgundy wine is 100% Pinot Noir and grown on a terroir of limestone and clay. Ageing took place for 22 months in French oak barrels from Allier, Nièvre and Vosges with long average heating and a very fine grain structure (30-40% of New Oak).
Tasting Notes:
Deep ruby in colour, notes of moka and curry, layer with heavy aromas of black fruits. Fresh on the palate, with velvety-smooth tannins, and slight tannic structure. Well balanced with and long finish.
Serving Suggestion:
Pairs well with mature cheeses, game and chicken dishes. Serve at 16
