Chateau Verdignan is one of the oldest estates in the Medoc. It has been lovingly cared for by the Miailhe family since 1934 and is located in Saint-Seurin part of the canton of Pauillac, bordering the commune of Saint-Estèphe to the south.
Distinguished and powerful on the palate with a firm texture, the 2005 is a long and complex bouquet. With ageing, the oak influence has mellowed and now supports a well-balanced palate of dark fruit and cedar, giving the wine a lovely long finish.
Best enjoyed alongside roast beef or hard cheeses.
