Clarinaze Hayfever Relief nasal spray contains mometasone furoate, a corticosteroid. It relieves inflammation, sneezing, itching, blocked or runny nose and sinus discomfort in adults aged 18 and over with hayfever (seasonal allergic rhinitis). Each spray delivers 50 micrograms of mometasone furoate.
Directions for use: Shake gently before use. For adults: 2 sprays in each nostril once a day. Do not use more than 4 sprays a day. Once symptoms improve, reduce to 1 spray in each nostril a day. If first use or not used for 14 days or more, prime the bottle by pumping 10 or 2 times respectively until a fine mist appears. Use within 2 months of first use.
Do not use: in children under 18 years; if allergic to mometasone furoate or any ingredients; if you have an untreated nose infection; if you have recently had nose surgery or injury; if taking medicines for HIV; continuously for more than 1 month without consulting a doctor; without talking to a doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
Warnings and precautions: Consult a doctor or pharmacist if symptoms do not improve after 7 days; if you have tuberculosis, any infection, cystic fibrosis, or are taking other corticosteroid medicines; if you experience blurred vision or other visual disturbances; if you come into contact with measles or chickenpox while immune system is compromised.
