Cotswolds Single Malt Whisky is made from grain to glass in their distillery, using local barley from the Cotswolds which is mashed and fermented for four days before being distilled twice in Cotswolds' bespoke copper pot stills. This Whisky is then aged in premium ex-bourbon and reconditioned red wine casks before being blended and bottled their distillery. The nose has notes of honey and butterscotch, layered with peaches & apricots, with a hint of marzipan. The palate features strong rich notes of tannin-enriched malt, oils and dark sugar with lots of spice, and caramelised Seville orange marmalade. The finish is long with dark red fruits and a hint of sweet treacle.
