Florence Heresztyn and her husband Simon Mazzini took over the estate from Florence's parents and uncle with the 2012 vintage and have made great progress since then. This is a fine estate in a famous village. Florence's grandfather arrived from Poland in the 1930s, and gradually built up the estate. Florence and Simon are in conversion to organic and biodynamic viticulture, with the 2019 their first vintage producing Ecocert-certified organic wines.
Tasting Notes: It has the distinctive notes of spice, mineral and iron that Gevrey wines sometimes show. There are some soft oaky notes too, but this is a wine which will last well for 10 years.
