Discover the Domaine Jouan Chambolle Musigny 2020, a fine Burgundy red crafted from three parcels of old vines aged 50 to 80 years. This wine offers a succulent and fresh red fruit profile with a deep colour and no jammy flavours. Perfectly suited for pairing with beef, veal, or poultry dishes.
Domaine Jouan is a small domain of only three and a half hectares. Despite the tiny size and the under-the-radar vibes, they produce beautiful wines which inspire great devotion with many faithful customers. There are some impressively old vines at this estate, and this Chambolle is made from three parcels: Derrière le Four, Herbues and Chardanes (80, 70 and 50 years old respectively).
Tasting Notes: Rich, deep coloured and succulent but without any jammy/confit flavours. Supple and fruity, Chambolle in 2020 is fresh, spicy, bursting with crunchy red fruit coulis.
Pairing Suggestions: Pairs well with beef, veal and poultry dishes.
