The Domaine Jouan Chambolle Musigny 2021 is a fine red Burgundy crafted from old vines up to 80 years old. It offers a rich, fresh flavour profile with succulent fruit and no jamminess, making it a perfect pairing for beef, veal, or poultry dishes.
Domaine Jouan is a small domain of only three and a half hectares. Despite the tiny size and the under-the-radar vibes, they produce beautiful wines which inspire great devotion with many faithful customers. There are some impressively old vines at this estate, and this Chambolle is made from three parcels: Derrière le Four, Herbues and Chardanes (80, 70 and 50 years old respectively).
Tasting Notes: Rich, deep coloured, succulent and surprisingly fresh without any jammy/confit flavours. Supple and fruity, Chambolle in 2021 shows a wonderful plump charm
Pairing Suggestions Pairs well with beef, veal and poultry dishes
