Pair it with aged cheeses or wild mushrooms, or enjoy on toast. This Dungeness Wood Sage Honey is a single-origin, minimally filtered honey from the British bees foraging on the Dungeness coast.
This exquisite honey truly puts the ever-so-clever British bee on the map.
Bees forage on the wild wood sage and viper's bugloss which grows on the flint beaches of Dungeness. An homage to the late Derek Jarman, who used to keep bees in the area, these seasonal hives sat in proximity of Prospect Cottage. The honey's unusual woody forest notes match well with savory dishes such as cheeses and wild mushrooms as much as on your toast.
All of our honey is proudly single-origin, minimally filtered and completely pure - never blended and never pasteurised.
Crystallisation is a natural process in honey - should it occur, gently warm the bottle in hot water.
