Louis Roederer is one of the great Champagne houses and is still owned by the Roederer family. Their collaboration with Fortnum's is of very long standing and this non-vintage cuvée is one of the happy results: a blend of the three main Champagne varieties, with the freshness and elegance of Chardonnay balanced by the complexity and notes of fresh-baked brioche that the Pinots Noir and Meunier bring. It makes a perfect aperitif... but good Champagne is the most versatile of wines and this one will happily accompany almost any dish.
