This Fortnum's Somerset Cherry Ripe Liqueur brings a rich, historic taste to any drinks cabinet, made with local morello cherries and traditional Somerset apple brandy. Produced by the Somerset Cider Brandy Co. in Kingsbury Episcopi, it is a British treat for slow sipping.
Since before the days of King Charles II, Somerset apples have been used to produce apple brandy. Today, the historic village of Kingsbury Episcopi is the site of an exciting marriage of local morello cherries and this ancient spirit. The result is a liqueur that would have made the Merry Monarch shout for joy.
