HiPP Organic Follow On Milk Powder

Nutritionally tailored for little tummies. Suitable from 6 months - our follow on milk has been specially formulated to help support babies from 6 months old, complementing a varied weaning diet.

Every tin of our organic follow on milk is carefully developed to provide key nutrients tailored for growing babies. Including:

• Vitamin D^ - which contributes to the normal function of the immune system.
• DHA - an omega-3 fatty acid, which contributes to the normal visual development of infants up to 12 months of age (a beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 100mg of DHA).
• Higher levels of iron
• Other important nutrients such as vitamin C & folic acid^

Supporting the weaning journey - in addition to being specially formulated for this stage, our follow on milk can also be used in cooking throughout your baby's weaning journey, offering them a familiar taste whilst they wean.

Ingredients

Organic skimmed milk, organic lactose, organic vegetable oils (organic palm oil, organic rapeseed oil, organic sunflower oil), organic whey product, organic galacto-oligosaccharides from organic lactose, calcium salts of orthophosphoric acid, fish oil, potassium chloride, calcium carbonate, L-tyrosine, sodium citrate, vitamin C, L-tryptophan, magnesium carbonate, L-cystine, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, niacin, vitamin E, pantothenic acid, cupric sulphate, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, potassium iodate, folic acid (calcium L-methylfolate), sodium selenite, manganese sulphate, vitamin K, vitamin D, D-biotin. Please follow preparation and feeding instructions carefully; failure to do so may make your baby ill, as powdered milks are not sterile.

To open: Remove the tamper-proof clip and safely dispose. Open the lid and remove the scoop held inside the lid. Slowly pull back the foil seal using the tab.

To close: Push the lid down until you hear the click.

• Wash hands and sterilise all equipment following the manufacturer's instructions.
• Boil 1 litre of freshly run water and leave to cool for no longer than 30 minutes. Do not use artificially softened or repeatedly boiled water.
• Measure the required amount of water into a sterilised bottle (referring to the Feeding Guide).
• Using the scoop provided, add the correct number of scoops of powder - 1 level scoop of powder to each fluid ounce of water (approx. 30 ml). Level off the powder using the scoop leveller. Do not press the powder.
• Place the sterilised teat and cap on the bottle and shake well until all the powder has dissolved (approx. 15 seconds).
• Cool to drinking temperature (approx. 37 °C) by holding the bottle under cold running water and feed immediately. ALWAYS test the temperature of the milk before feeding.

Store in a cool, dry place - do not refrigerate. Use tin within 3 weeks of opening. Product of Germany. HiPP Organic follow on milk is packed in a protective atmosphere.

Important feeding information

• Babies from 6 months onwards need about 500-600ml of HiPP Organic follow on milk per day, either as a drink, on cereals or added to other foods. However, this is only a guide, and your baby may need more or less than this. If you require more advice, please consult your healthcare professional.
• Only use the scoop provided in the pack.
• Feeds should not be made weaker or stronger than indicated, and nothing else should be added.
• Always freshly prepare feeds and use them immediately.
• For hygiene reasons, do not prepare in advance and throw away unfinished feeds within 2 hours.
• Do not heat feeds in the microwave; hot spots may occur, which could cause scalding.
• Never leave your baby alone during feeding.
• Introduce a cup or beaker as soon as possible to prevent prolonged/frequent contact of teeth with milks feeds as this may increase the risk of tooth decay.
• Please clean your baby's teeth regularly once they appear.
