To refill the lipstick, hold the pointed end of the applicator, remove the cap and pull out the barrel. Then remove the cap of refill shade, firmly pull the barrel out from the cylindrical black base. Reconnect the refill cap and base with the remaining lipstick, then hold the pointed end of the applicator and insert the new refill shade into the opening until it clicks into place.
