You can print docs and photos remotely, when you're out and about, and receive notifications on your device when printing, scanning and copying.

Wireless integration

• Get fast and reliable connections using self-healing Wi-Fi. Connecting to your Wi-Fi means you can print from a computer on the same network from anywhere in the house. Direct printing from your smart phone or tablet, and it's also compatible with Apple Airprint for seamless integration with iOS devices. You can still connect wired devices via USB in trusty traditional fashion of course.

Smart Tank

• HP's Smart Tank gives you high capacity printing from low cost. It's supplied with enough ink for up to 6,000 pages black and white, and 6000 pages of colour. So you can print happily for up to 3 years (based on 150 pages per month usage). You can be sure of dark, highly-defined text, and vibrant colours for your printed graphics. The Smart Tank prints your docs quickly too, printing up to 12 pages per minute monochrome, and up to 5 pages per minute colour. And when you do need to top up, the tanks are easy to refill with spill-free, resealable bottles.

Good to know

• This printer is intended to work only with cartridges that have new or reused HP electronic circuitry, and it uses dynamic security measures to block cartridges using modified or non-HP circuitry. Periodic firmware updates will maintain the effectiveness of these measures and block cartridges that previously worked. Reused HP electronic circuitry enables the use of reused, remanufactured, and refilled cartridges.
