Slide the refill into the case before clipping the diffuser onto the air conditioning vent. The diffuser releases fragrance through natural air flow; for more active diffusion, turn on the car's air conditioning.
When the car will not be used for a while, return the refill to its heat seal to keep the fragrance fresh. An opened refill lasts approximately three months; unopened, up to 18 months.
