Santenay, at the southern tip of the Côte de Beaune has been known since Roman times. It was famous for its hot springs, Santinae Aquae, (healing waters), which gave the village its name. Cellarmaster David Fernez carefully selects ripe Pinot Noir grapes, ageing the wine in oak for this bespoke M&S Santenay. Delicious to drink now this will keep for 3 or more years, becoming more complex and mellow.
