Monkey Shoulder created an innovative blended malt whisky that's bold enough to be mixed in cocktails, and yet balanced enough to enjoy neat. Today, Monkey Shoulder is an epic blend of single malt Speyside Scotch whiskies inspired by Batch 27 - the Monkey Shoulder original recipe.

Catch whiffs of zesty orange, vanilla, honey and spiced oak and taste mellow vanilla with spicy hints; Monkey Shoulder boasts a rich, smooth, malty and fruity character that is distinctive yet balanced enough and perfect for cocktails. Get creative and treat tastebuds to a splash of Monkey in delicious Old Fashioned, Mojito, Espresso Martini or Monkey Colada cocktails.

The iconic whisky bottle is complete with 3 monkeys, each representing a constituent single malt whisky. Rooted in malt whisky lore, the name references a strain injury playfully known as 'monkey shoulder' experienced by the William Grant & Sons malt men who turned malted barley by hand using large, heavy malt shovels. Thankfully, the condition no longer exists.
