Movicol Ease Citrus Flavour is an osmotic laxative. Movicol Ease Citrus Flavour is for the relief of occasional constipation.

Each sachet contains:

• Macrogol 3350 - 13.125 g
• Sodium chloride - 350.7 mg
• Sodium hydrogen carbonate - 178.5 mg
• Potassium chloride - 46.6 mg

Preparation and usage

Dosage: For adults aged 18 years and above, including pregnant and breastfeeding women (see below), the dose is 1-3 sachets per day: Dissolve one sachet in 125ml (1/4 pint) of water, 1-3 times per day. This should be taken in divided doses throughout the day, according to the severity of your constipation.

Reconstituted solution: Store covered in a refrigerator (2°C -8°C) for up to 6 hours.

Safety information

• This medicine is not recommended for children under 18 years of age.
• For oral use only.
• Speak to your doctor or pharmacist if:
  • you are pregnant or breastfeeding
  • you are taking any other medicines
  • your constipation needs treatment for longer than 5 days
  • you have persistent abdominal pain or are passing blood.
• Do not take if a doctor says you have a blockage in your gut (intestinal obstruction), a hole in your gut wall, a disease causing severe inflammation of the gut (inflammatory gastrointestinal disorder), or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
• Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.
• Treatment with Movicol Ease Citrus Flavour usually lasts for about 5 days.
• When regular bowel movements return, use fewer doses per day and usually treatment can be stopped.
• Keep out of the sight and reach of children.
