To maintain the leather, use protective gels or sprays such as Collinil Leather Gel to enhance water resistance. Avoid exposure to water and prolonged direct sunlight. If the wallet becomes wet, blot away moisture with paper towels, stuff with paper, and let dry naturally. Requires specialist care.
Darker-coloured leathers can transfer colour onto lighter-coloured fabrics and mark it. Dark-coloured fabric dyes (such as denim) can also transfer onto lighter-coloured leathers.
