Shooting in SDR enables the use of Picture Control or Imaging Recipes while shooting in N-Log embeds more colour information into the data so you get more flexibility to create the look that you want when using editing software. It is also capable of filming 4K/60p in crop mode, or, for ultra-dramatic slow-motion action, can record Full HD 1080 up to 120p.

The Nikon Z 16-50mm f/3.5-6.3 DX VR and Nikon Z 50-250mm f4.5-6.3 DX VR lenses are among the first extremely portable Nikon Z DX zoom lenses, ideal for video and still imagery. The 16-50mm lens, known as a pancake zoom, offers a versatile focal range from wide-angle to normal, with a minimum focusing distance of 0.2m, making it excellent for close-ups with crisp results. The 50-250mm lens is a compact telephoto zoom that smoothly transitions from portrait framing to capturing distant action, featuring a normal to telephoto focal range and a 0.5m minimum focusing distance for detailed close-ups. Both lenses include in-lens vibration reduction and a silent control ring for enhanced stability and quiet operation.
