What Is It:

An organic, premium AAAgrade matcha green tea from Kagoshima, Japan, stoneground using a traditional granite mill. Awarded a 1Star Great Taste Award (2023), it is a mild, smooth powder suited to daily tea or lattes.

What's inside:

• Organic AAA grade matcha green tea (powder)

How To Use:

As a food supplement, place 1/2 tsp (1 g) of matcha into a mug or bowl. Add a few drops of water at approximately 80°C to form a paste, then fill the cup with further hot water (no hotter than 80°C) and whisk until frothy and smooth. Can be enjoyed straight or prepared as a latte.

• Pregnant women may wish to avoid matcha, particularly in the first trimester; studies suggest a daily caffeine limit of 200-300 mg for pregnancy.

Directions:

Top Tip:

Always use a tea strainer! Quality matcha is an ultra-fine microscopic powder meaning it easily becomes electrostatically charged and forms lumps, this is why the strainer is such an important tool in the preparation of the perfect cup of matcha.
