Spontex Sponge Cloths are super absorbent and stop odours. The cloths are treated with an antibacterial agent that limits the development of bacteria and bad smells in them. These thick, flexible sponge cloths are perfect for mopping up spills and wiping down surfaces. Reinforced with a cotton mesh they are also resistant and long lasting.

These sponge cloths are made from cellulose, an ultra thirsty material, which means that each cloth can absorb 13 times its own dry weight in water. Spontex Sponge Cloths are made from cellulose and cotton which are plant based materials and compostable. 50% of the cotton used is recycled. They are durable and can be used multiple times, just pop them in the washing machine between uses. 100% of the wood pulp used is PEFC Certified and comes from sustainably managed forests and controlled sources. The packaging now uses 29% less plastic compared to the previous pack, meaning we are using 55kg less plastic for every 100,000 packs.
Top Tip: These cloths come in a mixed colour pack so why not dedicate a specific colour to a specific task or room.
The sponge cloth is treated with an antibacterial product: didecyldimethylammonium chloride that kills 99% of E. coli bacteria present in it. The sponge cloth is compostable in domestic compost bins, based on tests conducted by an independent laboratory. Dispose of in a suitable compost bin only.
