Strefen Orange Flavour Sugar Free 8.75mg Lozenges are used for the short-term relief of the symptoms of sore throat. Works for up to 4 hours. For oromucosal use only. Suitable for adults and children over 12 years.

How to use

Please read the enclosed leaflet carefully before use. Patient Information Leaflets are updated periodically by the manufacturer.

• Suck one lozenge slowly every 3 to 6 hours as required. Always move the lozenge around your mouth whilst sucking.
• Do not take more than 5 Strefen Orange Flavour Sugar Free 8.75mg Lozenges in any 24 hour period.
• Not for children under 12 years of age.
• If symptoms persist or worsen, or if new symptoms occur, consult your doctor or pharmacist. Do not use for more than 3 days.
• WARNING: Do not take more medicine than the label tells you to.

Hazards and Cautions

Do not take if you:

• Are allergic to flurbiprofen, aspirin, other NSAID medicines, or to any other ingredient of the product
• Are taking other NSAID medicines, or aspirin with a daily dose above 75mg
• Have or have ever had heart, kidney or liver failure
• Have (or have had two or more episodes of) a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding in the stomach or intestines, or severe colitis
• Have ever had problems when your blood did not clot properly
• Are in your last trimester of pregnancy

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you:

• Have or have had asthma, diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, a stroke, heart, liver, kidney or bowel problems
• Are a smoker
• Are pregnant
• Have an intolerance to some sugars

Keep all medicines out of the sight and reach of children.

Storage: Store in the original carton.

Precautions: This is a medicine: Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have an underlying medical condition, are taking any other medication or complementary therapy, or if symptoms persist. Seek advice before using if you are breast feeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies.

Ingredients: Active Ingredient: Each lozenge contains Flurbiprofen 8.75mg. Also contains: Isomalt (E953), Maltitol Liquid (E965), Macrogol 300, Potassium Hydroxide (E525), Orange Flavour, Levomenthol, and Acesulfame Potassium (E950).
