Consume this product as part of a varied and balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. A recommended intake of plant sterols 1.5g 2.4g per day can help lower cholesterol by 7 10% in 2 3 weeks. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 1.5 3g plant sterols. Avoid consuming more than 1 bottle per day. Each bottle (100g) of cholesterol lowering peach and apricot yogurt drink contains 2g of plant sterol esters per 100g portion. This product is not intended for people who do not need to control their blood cholesterol level. One serving (100g) contains 2g of free plant sterols. No more than 3g of plant sterols should be consumed each day. If taking cholesterol lowering medication, this product should only be consumed under medical supervision. This product may not be nutritionally appropriate for pregnant and breastfeeding women, or children under 5 years. It is recommended to have 1 bottle of Tesco cholesterol lowering peach and apricot yogurt drink every day, as part of a balanced and varied diet that includes plenty of fruit and vegetables to help maintain carotenoid levels. Plant sterols have been shown to lower/reduce blood cholesterol. High cholesterol is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease.
