Preparation and usage

Shopping list / Ingredients to buy

• 100g orzo
• 100g smoked salmon
• 1 white onion
• 160g frozen peas
• lemon

Method:

• 1. Boil the kettle.
• 2. Finely dice an onion, add to a pan with a little oil and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add the orzo, the paste and 350ml boiling water.
• 3. Cover and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the orzo is tender.
• 4. Remove from heat, add peas and stir well.
• 5. Slice the smoked salmon thinly, stir through gently with the seasoning and a squeeze of lemon, return to the hob for 2-3 more minutes. Top with fresh lemon wedge.
