American designer and interiors specialist Kelly Wearstler excels at creating modern designs. Her eponymous label's tenth collaboration with The Rug Company brought forth the Runa rug, a handcrafted creation with tonal squares layered atop one another for a visually stimulating trompe- l'oeil effect. It's tightly woven from a blend of natural fibres for superior longevity and wear-resistance: wool is durable, soft underfoot and stain-resistant thanks to the naturally occurring wax-like lanolin that coats the fibre, while silk reflects light, creating a subtle sheen and contrasting beautifully with the matte wool.
Available in two colourways, Clay and Pistachio, the Runa rug is a masterclass in style and technical prowess.
