This Wilkin & Sons Tiptree Redcurrant Jelly is made by gently simmering red currants and pressing the juice to capture maximum flavour. It is a vegan and kosher preserve that also suits coeliacs and vegetarians. Serve it with roast lamb or stir into gravies for a fruity depth.
Red currants are brought to the boil and simmered gently. The juice and fruit are then transferred to our fruit press where it is squeezed slowly to extract the maximum amount of juice from the fruit. This distinctive jelly is just perfect to accompany roast lamb, and also makes a delicious addition to all gravies.
