The best fruity Italian red? We found it in the hilly Abruzzo region of east central Italy. A medium bodied Montepulciano d'Abruzzo with earthy notes and blackberry flavours with hints of spice and black pepper. Goes perfectly with red meats or mushroom dishes.

Opening

• 1. Lay pack on side. Break and lift perforated flap. Tear off circular portion.
• 2. Pull out neck of tap all the way.
• 3. Locate neck firmly in round opening and secure with flap.
• 4. Place pack upright. To pour, push both wings upwards with fingers.

Once opened, consume within 6 weeks. Store in a cool, dark place.
