Hon-Nigari Tofu. Soft, smooth and creamy in texture, delicious in soups, salads and desserts.

Pure and smooth, silken tofu is unpressed therefore contains more water, giving it a uniquely soft texture, perfect for soups salads and desserts. Also great for mapo tofu and agedashi tofu.

Preparation and usage

This creamy, silken tofu block is packaged to keep fresh until you're ready to enjoy it. Open as follows:

  • 1 Unfold the four corners of the carton and cut off the top with scissors along the cutting lines.
  • 2 Place the carton on a big plate, holding the bottom corners and push the tofu out carefully.
  • 3 If required, wrap the tofu in kitchen paper to remove any excess water.
